I have extensive experience in many aspects of information technology: I have been writing computer software since the early 1980s; in the late 1980s I was developing bespoke database software on CP/M based computers; I have been working with internet technologies since 1992, the very beginnings of what is now the public internet; and in the years since I have very much kept up-to-date, handling a wide range of projects from real-time information systems for stock brokers and banks, to online shopping systems, to UNIX server administration, to DSP firmware programming.
